  • The Moka Express Bialetti is the original coffee machine that represents a symbol of "Made in Italy" and offers the experience of the true Italian rite of preparing a good coffee. Available in two different colours: red or black. Their unique shape dates back to their invention in 1933 by Alfonso Bialetti What makes them even more unique is the iconic male with a moustache.
  • The Moka Express Color is made of aluminium and guarantees high quality, also thanks to the exclusive patented safety valve that can be checked and is easy to clean. It also has an ergonomic handle to better hold the product. This espresso jug is available in many sizes and suitable for gas, electric and induction hobs (with induction only with the Bialetti induction plate).
  • This is how the preparation of the coffee works: fill the kettle with water to the safety valve, insert the funnel and add the ground coffee for espresso pots without pressing, close the moka and place on the hob. Wait until the container is fully filled, turn off the stove and enjoy a good coffee!
  • ONE SIZE FOR EVERY NEED The size of the Moka Express Color espresso pot is measured in cups, the coffee can be enjoyed in espresso cups or larger cups as needed. For this purpose, the Moka Express is available in different sizes (1/3/6 cups). Millilitres per format: 60 ml / 130 ml / 250 ml
  • Cleaning instructions: the Moka Express Color Bialetti espresso pot should only be rinsed with water after use. Do not use detergent. The product should not be washed in the dishwasher as this could cause damage and therefore change the taste of the coffee.

The original Moka Bialetti since 1933. The Bialetti male with the moustache that everyone knows and characterises all the products of the group represents Renato Bialetti, son of Alfonso, the inventor of mocha.
The iconic male with the moustache was designed in 1953 by Italian artist Paul Campani. The Moka Express Color also guarantees high quality thanks to the patented safety valve, which allows easy cleaning. In addition, the ergonomic handle makes it easier to hold the product. Available in different sizes to meet all needs. Suitable for gas and electric hobs. The product can also be used on induction hobs together with the Bialetti induction plate (sold separately).       Nachdem der Bialetti Espresso-Kocher meines Großvaters nach über 45 Jahren täglichen Gebrauchs, zumindest die letzten 20 Jahre seit ihn mein Großvater zumStudienbeginn an mich "vererbt" hatte, langsam aber sicher in den wohlverdienten Ruhestand geschickt werden musste, wurde es Zeit für einen neuen. Und es war klar es musste wieder ein klasischer Bialetti werden. Ganz einfach weil diese Art Espresso zuzubereiten nicht nur die einfachste und überall auf jedem Herd (ausser Induktion) und zur Not auch auf dem Grill oder einem Lagerfeuer möglich ist, sondern der Espresso aus einem solchen Kocher einfach auch der aromatischste ist.
      Die Frage ist jedoch warum es unbedingt einer von Bialetti sein muss und ich mich nicht für ein etwas günstigeres Modell entschieden habe? Ganz einfach deshalb weil die Bialetti eine bessere Wärmeleitfähigkeit haben, ja meine Frau hat einen No-Name mit in die Ehe gebracht, und mein Bruder hat neben einem Espressokocher von WMF noch eine ganze Menge anderer dieser Espressokocher benutzt. Aber in keinem dieser Exemplare wurde das SWasser so schnell und effektiv verdampft wie in einem Exemplar von Bialetti. Wobei es hier weniger um den Geschwindikeuitsvorteil geht sondern vielmehr um die Extraktion der Aromen des Espresso einerseits und andererseits um den Verbleib der Säure im Kaffeemehl.
      Zudem geben die Dichtungen in den günstigeren Kannen schneller den Geist auf bzw. sind von vornherein nicht wirklich dicht, ganz im Gegensatz zu Bialetti bei dem nichts daneben geht. Vorausgesetzt natürlich die beiden Teile werden fest miteinander verschraubt (siehe auch diverse diesbezüglichen negativen Rezensionen zu den Bialetti), zumindest bei den Original Bialetti Espressokochern läüft dann kein Wasser auf die Herdplatte.
      Ja der Bialetti Moka Color steht seinem Uhrahn in nichts nach und wird mich wohl die nächsten 45 Jahre begleiten, und wer weiß vielleicht werde ich ihn dereinst dann meinem Enkel oder meiner Enkelin vererben, aber bis dahin wird er mir jeden Nachmittag zwei leckere Espressi schenken.
      Warum aber nur vier Sterne anstatt fünf? Ganz einfach am Übergang zwischen Deckel und Henkel ist die Lackierung nicht ganz so akkurat. Eine Kleinigkeit, vieleicht, aber eben ein Fehler, und damit keine fünf Sterne.

      Habe bei meinem Bruder von diesem Gerät einen Kaffee bekommen, und während dem Genießen noch bestellt.
      Bevor der Kaffee Austritt, unbedingt ein bisschen Wasser in den oberen Teil geben, aber nur sehr wenig.
      Natürlich muss der Kaffee auch für dieses Gerät passen.
